Have you ever picked up a weapon and thought "I could really hurt someone with this"? Have you ever held sword and had the same thoughts? It's understandable, it's a human thought process. In today's episode we take a look at the consequences of someone taking that step. Instead of stepping away from the brink, our subjects deal with the fallout of somebody following through with those insane thoughts and deciding to strike. It's a story of family struggles, of world changing events, and what happens when you decide to fight everyone, including yourself, multiple times. Ep34 Shoto Showdown Ryu or Ken?
Their rivalry is a universal constant, a single point in time that is at the core of who they are. These two fighters have travelled the world and fought the best, yet their true opponents are each other. It is not malice, nor jealousy that drives them to fight, it is a bond formed as children that joins them, that drives them to improve. Regardless of this connection the fighting has largely been one sided and leaves us with a sense that something is missing in this match up, that it is hollow. This nothingness will be banished as today we shine a spotlight on these two rivals and ask who is better, Ryu or Ken?

What's in a name? Well not much...especially since it doesn't matter which one this game goes by, you probably still won't have heard of or played it. Chris Coplien from the "Retro Hangover podcast" joins the lads in a dramatic battle to discuss Dark Legend...Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty...uh Suiko Enbu or whatever it wants to be called on a Wednesday, anyway it's a Data East fighting game that doesn't suck! Ep32 Fighting RPGs
The Trojan horse, a magnificent tool for deception, it relied on its resemblance to a sacrificial object or offering to the god Poseidon. The objective of the offering was to gain entry to the city of Troy and sneak out, unlock the gates, and proceed with the murder and mayhem that was part of a fun night out on town for the Greeks of the era. 
Where this comes round to us is how game developers use our love of games to try and sneak features of other genres into the FGC's digital version of Troy, fighting games! Where we have the advantage though is the brave soldiers of the wallet standing strong atop walls of reviews, word of mouth, and the most pestilent and vile of all, social media, will stand strong against this plague.
Not all is lost, and some are of benefit to the great digital city, the issue is how do we decide which to keep, and what needs to be destroyed. Today we discuss the grand strategy for winning this war on pay-to-win, grinding, leveling, equipable items, and all the other filth that comes from the wastelands of RPG to infest and destroy our beloved digital city.
