With the upcoming release of Tekken 8 and the madness of the holiday season slowing down Kommand List decided to write out a love letter to our favourite entries to the series. Ep23 Mortal Kombat 4 (Gold) Merry Krismas
All good franchises seem to keep rolling entry after entry, cranking out the goods like the rocky movies, John wick and The Scorcher series. The other side of the two-faced coin is Disney Star Wars, The Terminator and The Hobbit movies, where a great franchise ended up with a less than great reputation due to a change in direction. Somewhere in those lost souls is a great product just waiting to be found and we are here to pick out the small bits of potential for the 4th entry into the Mortal Kombat series. Join us as we try to polish a turd and give our reasons as to why MK4 is not in fact, the code-based disaster it's seen as today. I still hate Disney Star Wars but MK4 is awesome.

His opponent is a serial killer from earth realm, a madman and ruler of the shadowy criminal underworld or maybe, just maybe, it's the concussion talking, and he has made a huge mistake, either way it's time to.... Ep16 Street Fighter 4
Kommand List take a journey with Danny from the Retro Wars podcast and wander down memory lane to the dark times. These years were horrific for many of us. People thought Ben Stiller was funny, Good Charlotte was on every station and the fighting game releases could be counted on 1 hand. The mid 2000’s were bleak for the FGC but there was a light in the darkness, the upcoming release of Street Fighter 4 illuminated the path to salvation. We only had to hold on, all we had to do was walk the path, all we had to do was… FIGHT!!
